AUSTRALIA ZIMBABWE BUSINESS COUNCIL
The Australia Zimbabwe Business Council is the premier business organization dedicated to promoting business and trade between Australia and Zimbabwe.
The Australia Zimbabwe Business Council aims to create an inclusive bilateral trade environment between Australia and Zimbabwe by serving as the voice of the industry, linking governments to businesses, and supporting long-term commercial partnerships that will nurture the spirit of entrepreneurship, create jobs, and successfully contribute to the global economy.
We also aim to empower people from African background in Australia by providing them with the right tools and knowledge that enables them to become successful doing Business in Australia.

AZBC BACKGROUND
The Australia Zimbabwe Business Council (AZBC) is a national business chamber that represents the business interests of individuals and companies in Australia. In particular, it engages directly with over 40,000 Zimbabwean living and working in Australia with business and economic interests in Zimbabwe.
Since its inception in 2014, the AZBC has successfully fostered relationship with both the Zimbabwe and Australian government through the respective embassies, the business communities in both countries, industry peak bodies as well other business chambers.
Additionally, the AZBC has successfully engaged with the Zimbabwean diaspora in Australia in order to increase participation in formal trade and investment with Zimbabwe.
As a response to both market needs and political realities, the AZBC Board decided to revise its STRATEGIC PLAN FOR THE 2018-2023 in order to best serve its members and key stakeholders. The revised plan are outlined in this document.
